thats true, but aluminium would still have been damaged so bent or cracked albeit probably repairable compared to the carbon mess we have above in said pic

but a non folding tyre would still have come off the rim! and caused more of an issue once it was off, trust me ive had it happen! hurt like hell lol............... that is determination though!

to be fair the amount of force thats gone in to that frame to cause that woulda buggered an aluminium frame just as much! the carbon just looks for more spectacular when it breaks

ktm have made bicycles since 1964, only recently have we seen them internationally! plus everything is in house design, EVERYTHING! and yes it is produced in far east like most now days, because a) it keeps cost down and b) they make frickin good frames over there...........oh and one more thing, they are awesomely cool!

just look at the spec, gravity cranks, e13 chain device ( not usually specced on production demo), world champ stripes on forks and chainstay, id say its hills new race bike

although this hasnt been confirmed, you may be right! take note of pedals and cranks and chain device, both what sam uses (and not usually specced on specialized) also world champ stripes are on the non drive chain stays and forks!

when it comes to saint your all wrong! new saint sits on the mech hanger like every other shimano rear derailleur as it now has shadow! but you are right about hayes being pony! better off with avid juicy's (5's or 7's only difference is the bite adjuster, that doesnt realy do that much. also however said dont get totems (altough the cheap ones are pants), whats that got to do with anything, hes quite clearly got a pic of marzocchi's up there.

looks like its gona be a pretty sick bike dude, hope you have fun once youve got it all sorted!

Thank god someone mentioned the fact aluminium doesnt rust!
